Was excited about them coming to netflix, I am not paying for both so I will wait until the season is finished and get a 30 day free trial lol.

Isn't Prime far more expensive than Netflix? I always said if never use Amazon again after they wouldn't close a users account who cloned my card. So I think I'll be another not splashing out.

Amazon Prime makes sense if you use Amazon a lot for other stuff, the £79/year subscription includes unlimited free next day shipping, and access to their music streaming service amongst others. I have both Netflix and Amazon Prime, if I could only have one it would be Netflix for the films/content but then I buy a lot through Amazon so both are useful. Anyway, back on topic. Looking forward to it!  |

Looking forward to it! Bingo, I signed up for Amazon Prime as it was discounted to £59 and I'll make that back on shipping on Christmas Presents so the telly and music is a bonus. Netflix is loads better for content, however the new Prime Music is good, playing with it yesterday and it made a good soundtrack to last night's poker game. You can even download stuff to play in the car so that was a nice little bonus. So, I'll be watching when the trio bring their buffoonery to Amazon. I'll let you know if it's any good! |

In other news our very own Jonny Smith had friend of the site Mick Wilkes' van on as a test rival for the new Bentley Mulsanne. Sadly I can't find a reasonable way of watching it back as it is on History channel and I need to update my entire Sky package to get the watch again for History!

I imagine this'll be good fun so it's good to hear that a deal has finally been done...
However, I don't have Amazon Prime so I won't be watching it!!!
Love them or hate them, those chaps are somewhat of an institution now so it was inevitable that they'd be back pretty soon.

Works for me. I'm really looking forward to seeing what sort of difference Mr evans makes to the BBC's flagship motoring programme. I havnt got amazon prime and have no intention of getting it. Oh well.

Heard about it today, My wife has been talking about signing up to prime for a while now so she can get books for free and next day delivery on coffee etc. Had a look and it works out at less than netflix with "sorta" more stuff.
Signed up now, Already regretting it.
Hardly anything on video, and music is ok but like using windows media player on windows 95..... Spotify is nice to use...
So... in reality. I doubt ill keep prime long enough to watch them. And does seem odd that they went to the one platform no one expected...

My friends 'in the know' on these things were pretty adamant that Netflix were a done deal for the TG crew, interesting that it didn't complete.
I also don't understand why Fifth Gear took the golden opportunity of TG running out of steam (even before the food based violence) and turned it into lemons by going to a channel with one of the worst online presences', very odd decision.
