Hi.
The Michelin MB24 is a rebadged Chinese item so hope you didn't pay decent money for it just for the name. The tank is a tiny 24litres so it will run an air sander for just a few seconds ! To be honest such compressors aren't really capable of spraying much more than a door or wing at best so not ideal for bodywork. Same with airtools - they are simply too small to run most for more than a few seconds before running out of puff. Sorry but just being honest.

Cannot comment directly on the Michelin compressor, but I happily, rubbed down and resprayed a transit camper using a similar aldi compressor, I added a modified propane tank, to increase the storage, use decent lines and connections as you have a limited air supply and need to get it to the tool, So you can spray, but you will have to operate within your limitations or get a bigger or additional small compressor. Some small words of comfort Glen!
What type of sander did you use?
Thanks for your honest answers Paul and Dave.

Just a cheapy DA, good quality disks help. A trick is to sand until the sander slows then stop and let the pressure build, but start again before the compressor cuts out to maximize your sanding time Ttfn Glenn A large compressor is nice, but make the most of what you have, and luxuriate in how easy or is to move around The camper retrorides.proboards.com/thread/57316/78-transit-camper

2'nded incearing capacity with random tanks, broken compressors from the scrap yard yield good capacity tanks with the correct fittings to use as a reservoir.
