Just wondering if anyone can shed any light on this. It just started happening recently and usually only on hard left lock over rough ground. Had a quick look and can see where the rear inside edge of the tyre is catching the radius rod. It drives normally with no weird noises or uneven tyre wear etc. It's been properly tracked with the rack centralised so the track rods are equal in length.
Any advice appreciated
Cheers

do they have lock stops?
from memory they have track control arms and use the arb for lateral location in the arch? so might be that the arb bushes are worn and have allowed the arb to shift sideways.

There's having the rack checked and centralised and then there having it done correctly, have you checked the turns lock to lock and counted the threads on the TRA ? i only ask cos not all trusted tyre centers can actually be trusted when you check closely, if it's all OK i'd check the steering arms at the hub for slight bends or a bush out allowing the wheel to move on full lock ?

Just a quick update on this.
Turned out to be the cone shaped tie bar bushes or radius rod bushes in Volvospeak. Not obviously knackered to look at but put the bar on them and there's quite a bit of movement compared to the other side. Got some on order.
Thanks for the replies
