Hi I just got a Pug 205 and I'm looking for some inspiration on wheels. I had thought about 1.9 gti alloys because they just look so right, but Iv'e been thinking along these lines... My car is an 89 1. , I was 19 in 1989, if Id had it then what wheels would I have put on it? any ideas ? Cheers steve.

Now they are nice, thanks for that PhoenixCapri. Iv'e been thinking again (dangerous I know), I couldn't have afforded to buy my car new, still cant lol! so maybe i should be looking at the early 90's too for wheel choice. Just please don't say Venoms, Iv'e just never been a fan. Cheers steve.

Personally I'd stick with the 1.9 GTi wheels. They're just ..... right!

Mim look good on that vintage car, or alleycats
It's more about the size and the tyre profile you choose. A wide 13 with chunky tyres is pretty age appropriate.
P.s. On my phone so photos are a pain

Can't find a pic of a 205 wearing some, but it would 100% have to be some 15" Momo Arrows if it were my car. A 106 wearing some is as near as I could get... I had a picture of momo arrows in my head and couldn't for the life of me think what they were called l always wanted these on my 205

Thanks for the pics Mystery Machine, they are quite nice. I think I have just learned something, I like simple, uncluttered wheels. I don't like the way the spokes are kind of split in half. I seem to like my wheels to look, kind of solid and smooth. stuff like this... and this
