I admit it. I have a problem. As soon as I get something I want something else. I really want something a bit older I can use for daily duties. I tend to get something, get all enthusiastic, realise I don't have the time/ability/talent to make it uber cool (I have so much respect for the skills that everyone on here possesses!) and then I get rid.
And I've wanted an older Merc for ages. So earlier today I sold this...
To buy Adam's S280.
I love this bit...
And really love this bit
And very very chuffed with this...
Few little jobs to do, some dash lights gone, window switches are a bit dodge, but in awesome condition. Steering is disconcertingly light at motorway speeds, and seems to run cool (just over 50-60), so a good check over and service at the local merc specialist is on the cards.
Then lots of driving...
