Hey guys Bought this beaut at a furniture auction last week. She passed her MOT today, last one was in 2007 and she was last taxed in 2005. Old chap who owned it passed away leaving his house and this car (in the garage) to his niece. That's how it came to be in the auction. That's all for now. I'm on the hunt for some nice wheels as I'm not a great fan of the current shoes Oh and for anyone interested, I shall be re-starting work on my kit car and 164 soon as I now have a garage

Well, the seats in those are like armchairs! lol
I had a saloon like that some years ago. Had the 2.0 DOHC 8 valve engine and spazmatic 'box.
Proper comfy barge, and the boots are huuuuuuuge!
I 'think' that the pcd is the same as Merc (5 x 112) but I could be wrong

My dad had one, like sitting in an armchair when driving it.. I've often said to friends that if mine had a telly, it's be like driving my lounge.

Nice cars. My brother has something similar. It's a 2ltr ghia manual You can't really see in this pic but he's fitted Granada Cosworth wheels and they suit the car very well.

That's a beauty! TBH I think even the original wheels suit it too. What's the mileage on it? Any interior photos?

Lovely! I had a summer job at the local Ford dealer when they were new, I loved how massive the rear legroom was and the little lumbar seat pumpy thing. I hated how far away the base of the windscreen was on the inside, I always, ALWAYS got glass cleaning polish all along the dashboard no matter how careful I was Such a rare sight on the roads now!
