I was asked to help clear an old Citroen/Peugeot dealer in Marlborough. The current owner sold the land for circa £3M and just wants out. Cameron, my freind made a bid for everything left and was allowed a few hours on Wednesday to collect whatever he could.
The tools, ramps and specialist equipment were already ear marked. I was on child care duties so took my 10 and 12 year old girls with me. We found ourselves in the old spares stores and noticed that the shelving was made from old Canadian butter boxes. They looked post war, so we decided to take as many as we could.
My 12 year old had a claw hammer, me just my fists and my youngest was shuttling these to and fro from the depths of the store to the car two floors up.
We spent a good few hours down there in the dust and managed to rescue 130 if these boxes for Cameron. We took 21 boxes for ourselves.

A very quick google has not shown up much except that there are a few for sale in Canada for circa £90 each !! Any ideas on how old these are and how much i could sell them for.
I owe the kids some money for helping to salvage these. Anyone here want to buy them? They could make very cool furniture!!
