How do [emoji16] not been on here for a while.. Got this a little while ago It's slow, loud as fudge (which I hate!) and is averaging 21mpg. The fuel tank is leaking, front end knocking over bumps. Apart from that I quite like it! It's lovely to drive actually. I've cobbled together some exhausts from the centre box back as they'd been taken off and cut about and it was LOUD and sounded wibblepoo. It's a bit quieter now but still needs sorting properly. The bonnet was stuck shut and after much faffing and blood I managed to get it open. It's got a cone filter which will get changed back to a standard airbox, lpg that needs looking at. X5 staggered wheels and BC coilovers which ride great. It's a big comfy barge basically! I shall update when I actually do something..

Went to change the droplinks today but the ones on there are like new so the lumping is not them. ARB bushes look perished though so that's the next port of call. I DA'd the car (took four hours!) today and it scrubs up ok! Nearly lowered it a bit more but it's practical as it is on the 19's so thought better of it. I must be getting old....

That looks sweet!
How does it ride on the BC's? I'm considering those for mine, although I'm also looking at the FK's with the damper adjustment.
I had a similar knocking on mine, turned out to be the centre drag link. Does it have the wobble at 50-60mph?

Looks badass on those coil overs ,I'd love a set for mine but the cheapest I can find them is around £700 .whats it ride like on them as I'd hate to lose the luxobarge ride of the standard set up for a filing rattler (must be getting old) .

Looks like it would visually benefit from some small spacers up front, to bring them out as flush as the rears? Otherwise, super nice looking E38! I've been looking at them and E39's recently, but they are just so bloody long!!

Would not imagine me liking it, but the wheels really work for this car!

Bare in mind that I've not been in a standard e38 to compare it with though. It's 100x better than my old slammed e36 on tuning art coils.. I've got no wobble. Better find out what a centre drag link is!! Looks badass on those coil overs ,I'd love a set for mine but the cheapest I can find them is around £700 .whats it ride like on them as I'd hate to lose the luxobarge ride of the standard set up for a filing rattler (must be getting old) . Otherwise, super nice looking E38! I've been looking at them and E39's recently, but they are just so bloody long!! It's got 30mm spacers on the front.. The offset is high on X5 wheels, don't really want to go any bigger than 30mm Would not imagine me liking it, but the wheels really work for this car! Are they 19's? They look MASSIVE! Have a pic! Nothing too exciting going on. Got hold of an exhaust for £30 and put it on today. It's sooooo quiet! It's awesome, much better than the chopped off backbox racket that was there before. Hit a pheasant and smashed the front plate, so got pressed metal plate coming..

Love it! Used to be local to me and those wheels and height were a proper neck snapper the first time I saw it. 32mpg is bloody good going.
