Hi all, I'm thinking of switching my current alloys wheels on my 924 for steels, just wanted to know is it ok to keep using the same bolts used for my alloys on steel wheels? Thanks

Alloy/steel wheel construction is completely irrelevant. You need to find out what type of seat the original bolts have, and what type of bolts the new wheels take. A 924 I imagine will have radius seat (rounded). If they are different to what the new wheels take it normally isn't particularly expensive to get a set of nuts/bolts with the correct seat

niwid Okay that makes sense to me. I think the bolts are tapered or rounded I will check once I have the wheels and get that sorted Thanks! baggabones I'm actually looking at a set of banded steels on ebay or this set of wellers also on ebay. Yes I think steels could look great with the right colour combo! I think most of the alloys made by porsche look pretty poor IMO, cookie cutter and fuchs are okay, I'm running 924 turbo wheels right now which are not to my taste at all! The Audi wheels would be good, if you could find the adapters a set of rostyles from an MGBGT would look great on it.

Also check the length of the bolts as not all wheels are the same thickness.
