There was a programme on BBC2 last night with Paul Hollywood (made a lot of money out of dough) about Aston Martins.
Whether you like Paul Hollywood or not (my wife doesn't) the programme itself was very good covering Aston Martin from the beginning, oldest production car driving up Aston hill, classics, Paul got to drive a restored silver birch DB5, racing DBR1/300 and modern GT3 (or is it GT4) with V8 Vantage's. Paul got his racing license running in 6 races also showed the Le Mans festival with the Aston CEO, Andy Palmer (great name), racing as well. Segments from Gaydon production and styling studio as well as Newport Pagnell restoration, is this Aston martin Works? Ended with the Bond DB10 being drifted by Mark Higgins (Bond stunt driver and former rally driver, with a hydraulic handbrake more suited to a Skyline drift car).
The only criticism I can think of, in the segment from Newport Pagnell they were in the showroom and there was a glimpse of a white DB4 Zatoga but nothing more, looked superb. No mention of the AMV8 series or Lagonda either, but then it was only 60mins.
Catch it on iPlayer it's worth it.
