The 4WD SR version would be amazing! Mighty Car Mods did a feature length video on a tiny Daihatsu 4x4 turbo on a trip to Japan, I think it was a Mira though? As it is now it still has tonnes of potential in my opinion, would love to see a small oil cooler bolted to the front bumper with the lines running through the grill! Wanted to do that to the Charade but it got wrecked before I had chance.

Yeah dude, the Mira is the same chassis. The coilover kits etc are actually interchangeable and the glovebox I have in my car is from a Cuore/Mira. Technically if I find an Avanzato TR-XX I could swap front subframes, modify the gearbox / propshaft delete and enjoy FWD turbo. Saying that, it wouldn't surprise me if there was a recess to allow the 4WD running gear to fit underneath ;/ We shall see. I'm not gonna go *THAT* far with this Move though, as it's only a temporary runaround till the end of January. "Oil cooler" is gonna be plopped on the list though ty pls.

I used a mk2 golf splitter on the Charade (in the picture) they take a lot of abuse from scraping before they fail! My front bumper was ripped off first! Looks pretty cool. Although I don't think my Move is wide enough to actually fit the splitter on HA. Wish I could get the bonnet, and front bumper off the Turbo Move in JDMLand, that'd be awesome. And the engine... In fact I think I'll just be happy with the 4WD SR version The splitter comes in two parts so you can saw some off each end that meet at the centre point to fit to a narrower car

I love Kei and I love your Move - good skills on avoiding usual euro tosh. I've never had one but if I did I'd do something like this to it: daihatsu-move by Little Pixel, on Flickr Most recent "Sweet Kei I didn't know about" discovery is the Daihatsu Opti Beex (name not made up) - it's got this little boot thing that makes it look like a little shrunken impreza. Sweet as a nut.

I spotted one of those in the wilds of Ennis a couple of weeks ago: loving the wheels on that

Not many updates. Went up to Birmingham, 3 up and four 15x8 alloys in the back.
Pretty much sat on the rear bumpstops ALL the way there. It was not a comfortable journey to say the least. A bit better on the way back once the wheels were out, but the M40 is kinda "wavey" so still not the most comfortable.
The next plan is to remove the rear bumpstops and cut them in half, so I have a bit more suspension travel but still have some rubber there to stop the shocks from bottoming out. I have the stock rear springs as well so if it's still a bit curse word, I'll get the most honourable angle grinder out and then cut a coil at a time till it's a bit more comfy while still retaining the scene prick lows.
