car covers, what are you using and why? I was very pleased with the performance of this Halford 'premier' 4 season cover until local %$*)(>?!! foxes decided to wreck it,they ripped through it and ate the bungies off my board racks!! bless them!! can anyone recommend a more hardy one? the foxes now appear to use my car as there dining table too

I used to have an all weather breathable cover for my old VW Beetle, worked a treat but if anything was a bit harsh on the edges and after a while of being left outside with lots of wind it did start to rub a little.
It was about £200 so I'd say a fairly decent one.
Those Machine Mart pop up garages are pretty awesome (rugged version of the link above) but they aren't really an option if it's a shared car park or similar.
Neighbours will also moan a little if as they are quite large. If you have space and won't upset anyone, they are 100% the way forwards.

thanks for your input,
as you can imagine 'paint bubbling' is not an issue where as rust is,I'm looking for a quality cover that will keep the weather at bay and be fairly fox proof.
I'd love a pop-up garage but as 31COUPE said it doesn't fit with where I keep the car because we have a private but, communal carpark.

Sticking a few cheap towels on the corners of the body was a good idea...keeps the corners in good condition!
