Not as wobbly as you'd think with the engine behind you . 65mph without too much drama . Made by ac and thundersley the one I had was a thundersley car and registered as a tricycle rather than an invalid carriage so it was allowed back on the road Made exactly £5 profit when I sold it to a collecter in Sweden but glad I sold it rather than stick a bike engine in it which was the plan

Can't remember why but I read this a long time ago - scroll to the bottom to read an amusing tale from an Invacar mechanic

I have one, it's a great little car, great fun to drive although a bit scary in wind. There's still a few out there although not many on the road. Mine is taxed, mot'd and insured and I do use it. I basically bought it to show it but I can't help getting in it and driving it. No point having a car and not using it. I'd like another one if any are for sale.

the rear arches are epic, imagine if they did a 4 wheeler version with those type of arches all round

Yes 10" Minilites, cheers for the comments. Although I don't think it's anything like a forklift lol

I'd have another if one came up for sale . Everybody lets you out of junctions and you can park anywhere or at least I used to in mine

Sadly in our area( Nottingham) the locals called them surgical boots, not very kind but the world was a different place at that time. Sadly, in my part of London they were called much worse . I haven't thought of these in ages.
