Had a couple of micras in the past. (See sig) Bored of those, my mate Dan has had a mini in his garage in pieces for years. So thought 'hey, let's combine the two!' He's doing the bodywork, while I do the mechanics. The car will be constructed over the odd weekends we get together and drink beer Here's some pics New rear end Repaired rear subframe Injection pump stuff from old car Old subframe New subframe I made to mount a 1.3 cg13de engine from a micra (Not finished fully welding yet, still few clearance issues to sort) Charger will go here somehow Welded up Work on a exhaust mani

Love it when you make it look so easy , that i want to try it. " hey , my friend and i came together and on a sunday afternoon i made a subframe ,stripped a micra for it's engine and made the supercharger fit" after lunch made some inlet manifolds and we had time to spare to grab a pint before dinner. In clarksons words " how hard can it be.." Love it ! And love the idea btw. bookmarked

Don't really have many photos to be honest. How ever if you need any info drop me a shout, i'd be glad to point you in the right direction if i can. Nice frame!! See you kept the original micra mounts, and alternator at the front Think ours is going backwards in the wing

Nice frame!! See you kept the original micra mounts, and alternator at the front Think ours is going backwards in the wing Yeah, i have since built another frame, not for a nissan though and with what i've learnt from that one i would have done the nissan differently. I would have used Land rover mounts, nice, cheap and effective. I would have run a very small denso alternator or something off of a charade or something very small, mounted it reverse and up in the wing (much like i imagine you are going to run yours. I had to cut a little hole in the grill but used a L2B plaque to cover it!
