It's like a London cab got into bed with the Batmobile in the mind of a crazy Russian Gaz fanatic who had been reading lots of Street Machine.
The are elements that really don't work for me, the wheel choice especially, but overall it's simply magnificent that this sort of thing is being created. I don't think it would take a lot to make it absolutely sublime!
Great choice of powerplant too...

I totally agree, love it for the sheer evil genius that went into making it, but can't help thinking that less of the murdered out look and different wheels would make this just fully amazeballs

Wide steel wheels (with higher profile tyres) and all the chrome back on, all painted a flat light grey to contrast with the black paint. That'd do it for me.

Great find, love the idea but agree with others on the wheels, and the proportions as well - looks to have been stretched somehow, to go over the Jag floor pan maybe?
What about some nice Torque Thrusts? Even have a set that'd fit sat in the workshop. Or maybe some Halibrands?

Don't mind the wheels, they fit in with the modern monochromatic image but I'd do without the partial window tints. If you can't tint them all then don't do any. (just my opinion though.)

Something about the proportions makes me think it's a super snipe body on a jag floorpan. It's just not quite right. And the wheels need changing. Other than that I love the idea of it and it's so very nearly very right.
Kind of like a British answer to 'Black Beauty' from the Green Hornet

Trying hard to stay positive engine bay looks good! Erm not sure about the rest, something odd in the proportions maybe or to much black loosing the body lines? Even lifted slightly on a set of slot mags it just doesn't appeal to me sorry

I don't think it's a Humber on a Jag floorpan, I think it's actually a Jag with some Humber panels adapted to fit. I reckon the shallow (Jag) sides are what makes it look so kooky. If it had the slab sides of the Humber it'd work much better - it might even be as simple as extending the sills to solve the problem.
Having said that, I do think it's still awesome.

Original Extended sill. Personally, I think that solves a lot of the uncomfortable-ness. (I hastily tinted the front window too - I hate half-tinted side windows!) A step further: I'm liking it much more now. We've got the tints, we've got the deeper sill, but now we've got silver/chrome wheels (I didn't mind the black though, if I'm honest) and another change...I've brought the shut line of the rear door down to hug the rear arch more. That's better. Window chrome. I think this step mixes things up too much. Some of the custom touches look out of place now that the classic look is coming back. This change would probably mean chrome doorhandles and bumpers would be a good idea, which to me takes it too far from the original concept. Just the reworked sill and rear door shut would be enough for me. Assuming I'm right about the panel swap rather than floor pan swap, you'd certainly end up with a more reliable, easier-to-fix car. Think of all the hassle they would've saved by using the whole door (locks, windows, regulators, speakers), seat and dash.

Hi, I hate to be pedantic but that's an Imperial not a Super Snipe. The difference is in the rear roofline. Super Snipe Imperial Colin

Super Snipe Imperial Colin The Super Snipe you've shown is a Series 1 / 2 - the Imperial you've shown shared the body of the Series 4 on Super Snipe (the Series 3 was the same as the Series 4 on but still had a highe roofline) - Confusingly the car has an Imperial badge on the boot but the builder's say it's a Super Snipe - so it could in fact be either . . . . but I reckon most of it is a Jaguar . . . .

I'm firmly in the 'it's a Jaguar' camp,
door handles, headlamps, fog lights, filler cap, exhaust placement the dash board is XJ too.
from the under bonnet photos you can tell the front half of it is all Jag so I'm presuming the rear half of it is too.
None of this detracts from what is a great build, but, to echo others, could do with a little refining on some details.
