All fixed and working as she should, fan's kicking in and cooling as it should. All good! I went for an early XR3 fan switch as they just use spade connectors, the wiring plugs (both) on the old fan switch seemed to have slightly melted.

Tis funny, I opened this in a new tab yesterday, nothing has happened since the last update, apart from it's gone to the lockup where the XR2 was stored! Seems to have sprouted a munchkin! I've aquired some more parts for it too. Would love to get cracking on this, lack of time is an issue.

So, turns out I shouldn't reply to threads when intoxicated! I'll probably put that post in the relevant Fiesta thread Similar story with this one though, I haven't really done anything since I started my new job about 8 months ago! I did take the side mouldings off one side (most of the self tappers had already pulled though the bodywork). I drilled out the holes to 6.1mm and put in some M4 rivnuts. I think it's a much nicer way of doing things. And it means I can straighten out the wonky drivers side front moulding. Another job that needs finishing. I also picked up a pair of 88 spec XR3i front seats, not terrible condition, but you wouldn't have used them, so I spent hours (many of them) un picking all the stitches. So I now have a fair amount of material to match the Recaros, I did want to use the centre fabric on the door cards, but I don't think it'll work very well. I did want to get this back on the road for the summer, but we're saving for a house, so it's unlikely that'll happen.

Fired the old girl up today, first time in over a year I think!!! She's looking a little sorry for herself. I'm hoping to get her on the road this week, and get her to Bromley pageant, I'll have to do a bit of tidying up though. Fitted an XR2 rear bench today as the original had loads of massive fag burns in....... Now none of my interior matches!

I've a flat eric in my Fezz, too. Coinky dinky right there.
Love the new rear seats, mine are in great nick but there's so much overspray on the seats and trim. There is overspray that has gone over the belt and left a nice clean patch behind it..great.

She's looking a little better after some love and a polish As always, the photo's are quite flattering. MOT's booked for Saturday, so should see some good use this summer, I've not really driven her much since I bought her..... Quite excited to start using her as intended, as she really is great fun!
