Love the Prototipo wheel, the coolest choice for any porsche. Ran one in my last bug.

Love the Prototipo wheel, the coolest choice for any porsche. Ran one in my last bug. Yeah I love it wouldn't run anything else it just looks so right! And thanks can't wait for them to arrive coming on the 22nd! Had some fun today! Alternator belt snapped on the way to work this morning which resulted in having to leave my car at the petrol station for about 3 hours until I could get a new battery as I thought the battery was nackered. Got it to work checked under the bonnet the belts snapped so managed to get a replacement belt after ringing round

Fantastic car - I hope to be doing exactly what you are doing in a couple of weeks time. Mine will be a square dash car. Really excited!! Keep us updated. The Momo prototipo steering wheel is great. Where is the seat from - this is perfect as the 944 was always moaned about as the steering wheel was so low in the car - causing leg room problems.

Havnt got round to fitting the seats in yet as there going to be retrimmed anyway but there cobra nogaros. And I havnt found steering wheel a issue to be honest after meny seat adjustment haha.

I toyed with the idea of a 944 a while ago and decided they were still a little too expensive for another toy for me. Saw a bunch of 924s in my price range but couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger.
Just after Christmas - after seeing all the cool looking 924s on here I decided that a nice 924S (87 or 88 vintage) would be ideal (5 lug for some cool Fuchs like yours). Doing a bit of a lowered retro ride.
Guess what. I can't find a good one locally for love nor money now, but there's a nice white 944 just down the road for $2k. Arrgghh!!!
Love the car - the wheels - the steering wheel too, but that seat really takes the prize and is amazing with the white car!
Are you thinking of lowering it? I've been looking into some Torsion bar delete kits here in the US. No idea if they would be MOT legal back home though.

That looks lovely! And the seat is incredible. I'd love to have something similar for mine. Actually the whole car looks very tidy indeed!
Also, I bet those Chengshen tyres are ace... haha

Been really busy the last few weeks to put up a update but quite a fair bits happened to the car since my last post. Like my Fuchs finally arrived And got them fitted same day with Bridgestone potenzas all round A week later got my Gaz coilovers but had to wait to fit them due to a snapped anti rollbar bracket so had to wait for a new genuine set to come Managed to get the rear as low as I wanted with just adjusting the eccentric bolts which saved me doing a massive job taking out the torsion bars. Had a rust bubble by the L/H rear taillight so I thought I may aswell sort it and paint it black for the time being until I get it painted and tinted the rear lights red. Managed to pick up a s2 lower rear spoiler for 50 quid the other day needs some repairs before I get it painted and fitted with the rear panel Also got a new VDO Bluetooth radio which looks in keeping with the interior and have all modern functionality. Also did abit of trimming by sorting out the old tatty gear knob and rear targa top motor cover which was sagging. Got my bucket seats getting sorted and just waiting to get them back before I can start trimming the rear seat and door cards Soon will be taking the car to Austria next month so getting afew niggles sorted now but hopefully I can pull it all together before I go. Deleted the rear wiper as all the teeth on the spindle had shattered which made it rattle it's tits off which was extremely annoying and got a custom built jon Ashley exhaust fitted which sounds awesome and now spits the occasional flame under spirited driving.

This looks fantastic, weels and colour work so well and the repairs and improvements are spot on.
My car also has a black rear panel and red rear lighs, i am going to put standard lights back in soon because the police are not as colour blind as i had hoped.

Thanks guys yeah I'm looking forward to getting onto the interior once I get the front seats back. Recently I have lowered the front quite abit as it sat nose high so I think I have it sat just right now but I didn't manage to get a picture yet but I did get one once I cleaned it afterwards just didn't get the front very well ha. Also got a photo when I was at ultimate dubs which was when it was still abit heigh Also this week the car started making a loud clunking noise from the rear under acceleration so I presumed it was a driveshaft cv once we got it jacked up and had a look couldn't really see anything or feel anything and once it was back on the floor and moved the noise had gone until the next day when I jacked the car up to do the front coilovers so I whernt under car gave the passenger side drive shaft a jiggle and the noise went so i presumed the cvs must stick so I decided the pull the drive shafts out and re pack them with grease and give them a good clean and paint while they where out and got to say it's sorted them out a treat. Also while I was there I did a gearbox oil change and mount the new fuel tank strap and it feels all the better for it Hopefully this week I'll get the rear diffuser fitted so it can get painted
