Long story short, the fleet are underused and tax/insurance for 1000 miles a year is money I could be using. So I'm debating pushing all 3 on, and having a modern daily with reduced wallet risk.
(Dad has 3 classics, so I'd still be able to pretend its 1960s when sunny)
Cars in question? Here goes:
The modern:
Saab 9-3 vector sport TiD 1900cc - 2006 - silver - 128k, FSH, colour coded, 1 previous owner (150bhp 16v derv) - barring the odd car park scuff (tiny) its spotless.
The fun:
1991 Rover 220 GTI 3 door hatch in flame red - 64k - 1 previous owner - bit part history due to 100 miles PA before me - all original, mechanical perfect, paint is rust free but few scratches .. Then again it's 25 years old
The classic:
1971 Austin 1300 mkii in old English white.
Handful of previous owners, last one for 15 years or so. Rot free. Mechanical spot on, but cosmetic work needed to be show and shine.. Wheel refurb, few scrapes from Previous owners.
So, collectively between the three, £7k all in? Or am I miles off?
