Scandinavian car culture through my camera lens

Been photographing as a hobby from 2011. I live in Finland, mostly pictures from local meets here, have been though to Sweden and Denmark. So, I thought i'd share them here, couple pictures couple times a week. I'll let the pictures do the talking.






















Hope this is the right place to post these. Spring is just around the corner so there will be new pictures too.

Thanks, esp. for the Sisu. Never seen one in the flesh, reckon they weren't a big seller in the UK!

Please, do tell more.   Though i do know the owner of the car and where he is living. I might have a chance to see his garage next summer. Heard rumours about five Ferrari's, this Countach and Diablo. If i get a chance to photograph them, it will be seen on here.

You can't just post a picture of that one without telling people it's got a blown 'n' nitrous 572ci v8 that runs on methanol. How's that for a weekend cruiser.

Thanks dude. I thought about mentioning from the BBC Merlin but i was'nt shure about what it does keep inside. I only know it sounds devilish and burns rubber. 

I think i would drive this to grocery store.

This sort of local knowledge, photos and insight is what I love about having a cross continent membership.

Where abouts in Finland are you?

It is annoying to me that the Extreme wheels show split into two different events, for me it was just right as one event, now as a visitor to Finland I have to pick which bit of it I want to see, and I liked it when it was all mixed together

This is just what i like to do. Bring crazy Finnish builds to peoples knowledge around the world. 
I havent been able to attend like 10-15 events last year, hopefully this year will be better. Atleast I'm going to Power Big Meet in Västerås for the fifth time.

I'm located in small village 20 km from Porvoo, 40 km from Helsinki and 60 km from Lahti. 

Yes, that kinda sucks. The Lahti event did have mixed cars last year though. If you're visiting Finland this year, give me a pm.

I travelled around Finland a few years ago....ferry over from Stockholm, Turku, Tampere, Oulu in the north, Kuopio, Savonlinna and more. Didn't get to Helsinki, but I'll return and go there at some point. Beautiful country.
