I'm after either a BTR or GKN diff from a TVR, ideally in 3.45:1 ratio but I'll settle for near that at the right price Not fussed about hydratrack or the other type. WHY fellow retroriders?

Ah right, I thought the rear suspension was Jag on them and it might be somewhere else to look.

Still hopeful that someone may have one kicking about that they keep tripping over

Or even on eBay. But I don't want to splash out 500quid on a second hand diff with unknown history and possibly in need of a rebuild

why not have yours rebuilt? I assume its for rtw. being an auto and not having more than 200 bhp id have thought itd be fine to just have your current one rebuilt, perhaps with heavy duty bits if available. they're not fragile, mines done 175000 miles and 65k of those were at my hands ( and I was never known for driving it nicely) and it still works ok. guessing yours has probably lasted longer than that already and will have survived even more miles ,so a standard one cant be that bad.

207bhp thank you very much And no LSD option for them either, and I don't fancy a Quaife unit at 700plus and then getting it rebuilt as well And with a LSD equipped granny, I will have 2wd in the snow and ice, not just spinning up one

my bad, thought it was around the 180 mark dammit....I thought I was only 28 horses behind you.....may need to address my nitrous jetting now........ what about an xr4i diff? someone on the now defunct gso site put a mk3 diff in his mk2. had to make a carrier for it but seeing as your having the diff mount made up now it would prob be easier
