Hi All, Random question time!
Ive had to take my car out of the garage while I pull apart my engine for a crank re-balance, Its now parked on the drive under cover to keep the rain off it (carport) but the boiler outlet is a old fashioned one which is now next to the car!
Ive looked online and cant find any definitive answers, will the 'steam' coming out of the flue affect the paint/body, as its meant to be acidic?
Will a Halfords type car cover (which are usually pants at keeping rain out) over it help or should I just be getting the car well out of the way and let it flood in the rain thats meant to be coming?!
Apparently not using the hot water and heating in the winter is not acceptable especially with two young children in the house..... who'd have know.
Many thanks
Chris
