Very long story short...
Every now and again i'll have a browse on zoopla and various property searches for cool buildings and workshops just passing the time away , but this time was different.
I came across a neat Victorian end terrace in the middle of nowhere , which ticked most of my (our/the missus) boxes. Wasn't even looking to buy a house , but something felt right so we just had to try! Bear in mind at this point , I had zero deposit to speak of.
Big driveway /parking area , nice sized workshop, decent garden and good sized house , but the workshop is probably what we will concentrate on here.
So after months of faffing with mortgages , managing finances , selling cars/parts etc , we will be moving in , in a matter of weeks!
After years of renting a little flat AND a workshop in various places around the country , to have this place and be able to do anything(within) reason , its living the dream (or at least I hope)
More pics:
Once i've moved in and had some time to do the basic jobs on the house , i'm gonna be looking to make the workshop great.
Currently has a concrete floor (which I can't remember the condition) , I would love to put down a proper Epoxy resin style floor with a bit of flake in and a 2 post ramp , basic air compressor in the shed on the outside with air lines run into the building.
Is there anyone on here who works in resin flooring? or know anyone local who does? I've been in touch with www.degafloor.co.uk and whilst they wouldnt quote me on doing the job , they are prepared to supply the material , So I may end up doing it myself!
Second on the list would be to look for a 2 post lift , single phase with low entry arms ideally!
Watch this space.
For the local peeps , who's near the Deepings?
