Hi folks Haven't been around here much lately, so apologies for that, and apologies for returning with a very blatant plug. Thought I'd let you know about Retro Japanese magazine though. Firstly, it's almost exclusively for stock stuff, not modified. There are enough places to get your modified kicks - this very forum for a start! I know there are many fans of unfettled metal as well though, so hopefully if that's you, you'll like this new magazine. You can buy Retro Japanese in some shops and also via shop.kelsey.co.uk/product/BOOKCCWRETJA/Don't let the cover fool you. It contains (amongst other fantastic machines) the Toyota Tercel 4WD, Nissan Bluebird T12, Honda Civic Mk3 and Isuzu VehiCROSS. Always looking for cars to feature, so drop me a line if you own something stock (or close to it) and interesting. 70s, 80s, 90s all good. Right. I'm off for a nose of the Readers Rides section. It's been too long!

Nice idea. I'll have to see how far it deviates from the stock side of things because even wheel change and a subtle lowering wouldn't detract from the magazine at all imho, but would also make it a lot more appealing to 95% (hazard of a guess) of the users of this forum.

Aye, I know this place is usually about modifications and issue 1 does include a lowered, stanced Prelude. Nothing is 100% excluded! But, there are a lot of magazines out there catering for the modified stuff and RR has always had plenty of stock-lovers out there. Myself included!

Picked up a copy today in WH Smiths after seeing it in Glasgow airport last week before going on holiday. Looking forward to reading through it.

I'll check this out, although I stopped buying car magazines years ago. Perhaps they'll have a Silvia 1.8 Turbo s12 featured at some point

What about OEM+ cars.
I know of a great OEM Nissan primera GT completely OEM I. A lovely ginger colour if your interested, I'm sure I could point him your way.
Mine is no longer OEM, ThouGh could be seen as OEM+ as mainly J import parts added lol
sadly these cars are not really mainstream or looked upon fondly sadly.
i will however go and pick up a copy, as this does really interest me for sure.

Looks a cool mag! If you ever want an RX7 Convertible to feature , mine is mostly stock (for now ) Might need some time to refurb the alloys though..

I managed to get a few Primera P10 pics into issue 1. Ginger GT definitely interested. Folk are welcome to drop me a line at ian.seabrook@kelseymedia.co.uk - always looking for feature cars and just short owner tales for the Owner Stories pages.

My 1987 Celica ST162 is very modified but I do have a friend who has a red 1988 one that is absolutely stock and in excellent condition, almost as it was back in the day. He's a stickler for originality and a nice guy too.If its of interest ill sort something out with you,not many of these cars around now.
