It's getting dark outside so the mocha colored headlights have to go. Cheapest halogen alternatives I could find. "World tech made in Taiwan" does not sound very great but getting four Hellas or something like that was a bit over the budget..... Sure, the lights are cheap but I still needed 4 of them. I will try Osram Nightbreakers since they have a quite good reputation, though I am still not completely convinced that they deserve it. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Well, at least I guess that the light output will improve a bit... And even though the truck itself is ugly, it improved the looks a bit too, strange enough.

Stuck Nightbreakers in mine and was very happy by the output. Then again, they were replacing a crappy HID set-up!

Yeah, cheap aftermarket HID junk are banned in my vehicles! Though I've got some Hella 3003 with original HID that will be mounted on the rollbar when I get one built, but that's something completely differend IMO.

I was going to put the washer nozzles back when I suddenly did remember why I didn't do it before, they were broken. As always when rare car parts breaks, Volvo parts can be adapted to fit... Took those from my S70 that is going to the junkyard and carved a bit in the plastic, so now I finally have a working washer again.

Hehe, not really used much in the wintertime, no... Mostly there is use for them in the springtime when the snow is melting and there's slush and dirt everywhere. The rest of the year they are mostly unused, and I guess that's why I didn't remember to put them back. Sure, they can be great to have when running through the mud but I didn't have much time for offroading this year unfortunately.

First of all, excuse me for all the pictures that is dead.... Swapped in the first Ford Escort seat today, started with the passenger side if it would cause any problems, now I know what to do on the drivers side… I guess that this will work well, it is about the same height as the drivers seat (Mazda 626) now, but the Mazda seat is adjusted all the way to the bottom, the passenger seat from the Ford is not adjustable and is about as high as the drivers seat are in the highest position, so probably I will gain some centimeters if I crank the Ford drivers seat all the way down…

Both Escort seats in place, and I can only say that I am satisfied. Much better driving position than with the Mazda seats, and more space under the steering wheel for the legs.

Even though the front wings and the bed still needs some rust repair before painting, I will start doing the camo since it needed some touch up after the winter anyway.....
