My old 2ltr petrol.. Loved that car watch out for rot in rear arches frony footwells and inner wing to bulkhead... This was on air back in 1999 i think it was.... Id have another tommorrow the 2.3td is well worth a look I had one bought from castle cabs with 400 thousand miles and I put 90k on it.. This was my first bagged carlton the 2.3td.. I ducked about on photo shop with the doors and swage lines but you really can get them this low...

Awesome ! Seen these pics on google a few times now
You got links to builds and stuff?
What about engines, do they hold up to a bit of boost?

No build threads unfotunatley they are pretty straight forward to mod,
The red estate was a 2ltr 130 ohv engine tied to an auto box it went well, they are a strong motor so don't see why turbo charging one wouldnt work well.
I have seen a combat cammo painted estate on here runing a charged let motor and that went verry well...
Strong solid cars build in germany twice the car the omega is....

Read that a few times now There's a champagne coloured estate on gumtree now with the wide bornet wheels, real nice but it's an auto, would like a manual My cousin used to live in his old white saloon,,he abused it and just kept kicking . I used to hate the shape, but just recently seen them in a new light. Just found the total Carlton forum too lol

There's a champagne coloured estate on gumtree now with the wide bornet wheels, real nice Is it this one?.. If it is that used to be mine, It is a very nice car, it's been quite well looked after, and had a few subtle mods done to it. You can read about what it was like when it was mine here and there's a few more photos of it there as well. I wouldn't say it was particularly fast, but i never had any trouble keeping up with traffic in it, and it was an excellent, and very comfortable cruiser. It belongs to beamer121 of this parish now, send him a message and ask him about it.

One of those cars that seem to have some pretty die-hard fans, that seems to have had dozens, and yet i find myself thinking them pretty uninteresting and dull. I've chopped up two for parts.. They are allright to drive and all that tho (and i'm getting a 24v 3000 one this summer lol) I've always preferred the Senator B for looks

I'd say stick to the 3 litre versions. The 24v is a lot better than the 12v too. Although, a c20let from a calibra turbo drops right into a 2.0 one
