I just spotted this ad on the Car & Classic website.
The lady who has owned this car since 1969 has recently died and the car is being sold FOR RESTORATION at offers in the region of £2K.
It's always been garaged.
It was last driven in 2000.
It was last MOT'd in 2003 & has been SORN'ed since.
The mileage is 59K.
The engine was last run in 2015.
All paperwork, handbooks, etc. are included.
The, (white), bodywork is described as having the odd ding and some surface rust.
Triumph 1300TC - one lady owner
There are no photos with this ad as the car is currently buried in the garage.
It sounds to me as though this could be a really sweet little project for someone, I imagine the car could be easily recommissioned then become a rolling restoration.
For those who aren't familiar with this car, it was Triumph's venture into the front wheel drive market, sales were disappointing so they eventually reverted to rear wheel drive. In terms of body evolution, this car is Grandfather of the Dolomite.
These are photos but not of the actual car being sold.
