mine does around 32mpg however i drive it which is good because i like to thrash it, good thing about these cars is doesn't really matter how hard you drive them there is nothing on the car you can break that will cost a lot of money. the panasports have a really low offset on them, i did have a set of 14" bbs lightweight alloys on mine but the had a 46 offset and sat inside the arches to much so they had to go. hoping to find a torsen for mine but they seem to fetching silly money at the moment.

Me too - I generally hate black wheels on anything! Seemed a shame to waste 2 cans of paint though so had to be done! They aren't 100% black so I can live with them being that dark! I'll certainly have a look into the codes, my friend (also has an eunos) bought a timing gun and has done the 14 degree mod to his. I'm not interested in doing it to mine, I like the power being right at the top of the revs. However He did have a look at mine and reckoned the timing was all over the shop. Could be down to the fact the timing gun was a tenner eBay special! I plan on high comp/cams/itb's over winter so on the lookout for a long nose crank 1600 block to start a build with. mine does around 32mpg however i drive it which is good because i like to thrash it, good thing about these cars is doesn't really matter how hard you drive them there is nothing on the car you can break that will cost a lot of money. the panasports have a really low offset on them, i did have a set of 14" bbs lightweight alloys on mine but the had a 46 offset and sat inside the arches to much so they had to go. hoping to find a torsen for mine but they seem to fetching silly money at the moment. I did find some spacers on the front, which I thought i'd stick on the rear - fill the arch a bit more! Only to find that the wheel's then didn't clear the front calipers. So They must have a pretty low offset! I've tried to find out what panasport's they are but had no luck in finding a match online. As for the Torsen, The one I've bought is a Type 2, from a Mk2 Sport. Not quite as harsh as the original type 1 from the mk1 eunos (if you believe what you read online) But they can be pricey. It's almost worthwhile finding a rotten/cheap mk1/mk2 and taking the dif off, selling the donor car on with an open diff in it's place.

Going to pick these two Watanabe 14x6 Splits up this weekend too. Absolute steal on eBay. Although they are a +40 offset so don't know how they will look on my car. Was going to use these on the rear with the panasport on the front. I will do if they fill the arch a little better. If not, i'll keep my eye out for 2 more to make a full set.

De cat mocked up. And it's back on the road! Decat extension piece made up. snug fit All clamped up now and sealed perfect. It's erm,,,,, LOUD. Also found a holesaw at work, oh dear. Race car points. Then thought screw it, I'll let gary grinder loose on the back bumper too. Need's a bit of tidying up, remove the tow hooks, the huge plates they attach to (and look stupid now) and fab up a nice new tow point that can't be seen. Also found some little spacers in my mums shed, stuck them on the rear to fill the arches a little more. Last but not least, a quick reminder.
