Hi Skyline, the seats were an aftermarket job available late sixties early seventies called deluxe grand prix made by Microcell, think the mk1 escort ones are called contour, same make might be wrong though not that well up on escort stuff

I don't bookmark many threads, but this one is a must Also, I like the seats, but if you can get anything near £800, I'd be selling them and putting in some Alfa seats

Its having the earlier straight bumpers on it,didn't have the original irons so cut up to sets of dolomite ones. Got these last set from TD Fichetts welded up and polished ready for power coating

Thanks for interest guys ,got brackets back from powder coaters trial fitted Decided to go with the stock s2000 fuel pump Got this cheap off ebay for the mounting flange the pump is 1.5" to deep to fit straight into the Toledo tank,so found this old motor fan cover and cut the middle out. Tank ready for cutting All welded up,just needs plumbing in to Toledo fuel line

Thanks Cavboy, yes sleeper look, only things that will look different from standard will be dolomite chin spoiler and probably sprint alloys, also got some period microcell buckets from a Bond Equipe. I'd get the original wheels banded, look more 'original' in both ways. Sprint wheels are too obvious, banded help with the stealthy sleeper look.

I was toying with that idea, maybe go to 6" with original hub caps on,probably help with getting bigger brakes on as well, not a lot of room in the Toledo wheel wells,on the donor car I tried these but couldn't find any arches that suited the car so they went.

This looks a great project and I love the direction you are taking this. I'm a big fan of the sleeper look and as cavboy80 stated, the original steels slightly banded would look stealthy. I'm sure I've heard these don't take to being lowered much without causing issues with the suspension/steering geometry and cross member/tarmac clearance? I reckon Sprint ride height, all stock body in white and slightly banded steels with hub caps would be a fantastic combination - especially with the lovely S2000 engine under the bonnet! Good luck with this shoey, I'll be keeping an eye out for any further updates.

Thanks Dan,the engine went in with little mods to bodywork or engine, this is second one I've fitted ,this timed its canted over slightly more even managed to fit heater blower,Hi mk2polobloke,wont be going to low maybe back tyre just level with rear wheel arch,go much lower and there will be no travel left on the dampers,as for colour I'm playing round Jasmine or Primrose, slightly greener shade of pale yellows, sure you know its Honeysuckle at the moment.

this was new old from a TR7 breaker I picked up some years ago,its for a dolomite though and saw this on ebay hopefully it'll keep it cool enough suppose to give 25% better cooling than standard sprint rad.

Very interesting conversion. Looks at home in there.
Presume you are using a Sprint axle? The other ones won't live long. Sprint gearing may be a bit long though?
You are definitely going to need more brakes - Sprint brakes only have about one good hard stop in them before they let the smoke out. There is a conversion using Mondeo parts engineered by one of the CT regulars which seems to be effective.

Hi Nick thanks for comments ,yes it is a sprint axle ,had one on last car and if anything was a little low, thought myself it may of been to high being as a s2000 something like 3.7:1 ,those big diameter wheels make the difference, used the golf disc/ sierra caliper before which worked quite well, cant go to big with 13" wheels though.
