Price has been reduced - looking to get this sold this year, as its simply not seeing any use due to practicality reasons.
The important stuff:
Mercedes Benz SLK 230 Kompressor
99 V plate (Now on a different reg to the one pictured)
Mileage 85,285 (it is being used infrequently so this will go up)
MOT next due April 2017
Located just outside of Weston-super-Mare
£1350 (No swaps or PX)
Just to save any wasted time - Car has been priced accordingly to reflect the condition, so I wont be moved on price.

Some other stuff about the car:
Reason for selling – its just not practical for our needs any more. Need something with more seats and a bigger boot! It was a run around for the OH but only ever really saw light use during our ownership (owned since 2007) hence the well below average miles for its age.
The car has some service history – various dealer & mercedes specialist stamps up to a point and then serviced by myself. Always had regular fluids and filters and anything else that’s required.
MOT is due April 2017 – Last advisories were headlight condensation and low front pads. Headlight was stripped and resealed, front pads were changed.
In the last year we have replaced all 4 shock absorbers, tyres (Falken Ziex), Central locking pump (really common failure and a hard to source replacement), AC top up.
During the last 9 years of ownership we have also sorted the common failures on the SLK (window regulators, AFM, cam & crank position sensors, K40 relay, steering damper etc)
Halfway through our ownership its had the gear box oil drained and refilled with new fluids and filter. Mercedes state the gear box is sealed for life but specialists recommend changing to prolong the gear box life.
It's also never been crashed or bumped.
Roof works without any issue - it was the one thing that Mercedes over engineered on the car!
Price wise - compared to the trash thats available at this price bracket its A LOT of car for the money.
Some negatives:
Being a 90's Mercedes the arches are going a little scabby. Seems that it doesn't matter if its an E Class, C Class, SL or SLK if it was made to the mid / late 90's then scabby arches are a Mercedes "feature".
Being a 17 year old car now the paintwork isn't perfect (but still a lot better than many other cars of this age). As a result there are some stone chips on the bonnet and a few light marks here and there, but otherwise the car polishes up really nicely.
The interior plastics have some marking – this is a common SLK trait. Mercedes painted the interior plastics with a vinyl paint which wears easily so you will be hard pushed to find a SLK that doesn't have marking on the interior dash plastics.
There is some kerbing on the alloys - but they are repairable. I have noticed that 2 of the tyres are loosing some air. The tyres themselves are fine so I suspect they just need reseating on the rim or the rim bead cleaning up.
These cars were built at a time when Mercedes were a little off their game quality wise, so the SLK isn't the last word in build quality, then again its £1350.
In summary:
Its a really honest car and its been well looked after over the 9 years of ownership. It also represents a bit of a bargain. Where else are you going to find a folding hard top convertible, with a 2.3l supercharged engine with a good turn of speed and a sporty chassis for under 1.5k?
