The Winter is here & crisp, fresh, sunny mornings are perfect for getting your classic car out of hibernation especially when the Walton Bridge Breakfast Club is back...

That's right, the WBBC is here again and it needs YOU to make it as interesting and as varied as it has always been!

With every Walton Bridge Breakfast club meet we see more and more great cars so please do come along and get involved! Without you this meet would be nothing so thanks ever so much to you all, you really are the stars of this get-together.

So, what's what...?!

Walton Bridge Breakfast Club is back and I want all you wonderful people to come down in your equally wonderful automotive icons...! You really do need to come along if you're into old/classic/retro/exotic/unique vehicles as I think this really is the meet for you.

Come along to the beautiful riverside in Walton-on-Thames for some good old fried grub (Praise be the inventor of frying everything!), a mug of hot coffee and a chance to have a gander at a superb and varied selection of wonderful classic and exotic vehicles of all different types...

This is just a little, local meet so all makes and types of classic and distinctly unique vehicle are more than welcome to attend and that is what is encouraged... Variation is the key here so please don't be shy (don't ever underestimate what you've got)! Cars, trucks, tractors, buses, motorbikes and boats (we are right by the river!!!) are all welcome if that's what you've got!!!

Please be aware that although the car park is pretty large other members of the public will be using it also so it is all based on a first come, first gets a decent space rule (things do get very busy!)... This is why I've started the meet from 08:00hrs!

Please drive carefully and responsibly in the car park and surrounding areas as other people and their families will be casually wandering around and other people do live nearby...!!! Safety and courtesy is paramount so caution and decorum are the keys to keeping everyone happy... Keep your eyes peeled for people on foot as they won't keep their eyes peeled for you is basically what I'm trying to say...!!! I cannot stress the importance of being sensible in the car park enough...

Bring your vehicle, bring your family, bring your friends and don't forget to bring a camera...

So, please do spread the word far and wide and let everyone know about this meet as I want this to be yet another ruddy good one... The Walton Bridge Breakfast Club is here and it's here for people just like you and I!

So at 7:45 this morning I scraped the ice off the MG to head to the last Walton Bridge Breakfast Club meet of 2016.


I’d arranged to go with my mate Jim who has a selection of retro modes of transport – a couple of 1970 era Fiat 500’s, one of those bonkers Lomax 2cv powered three wheelers and a Porsche 924. Unfortunately, none of them are currently working properly so he hopped into the passenger seat of the B.


I wasn’t sure what the turnout would be bearing in mind that a lot of cars get tucked up for the winter and it was bloody cold but there were a lot of cool cars present.

Great local meet, it never fails to throw up some cool cars. If you're within striking distance of Walton-on-Thames it's well worth a trip.

Nice selection of cars, made the last one but haven't got my Dolly at the moment so couldn't get to this one. Will definitely go again next year as it's very nice way to start a Sunday.

Hi,

I just spotted this, I see that you start a new topic each month when this is one. Could I suggest that perhaps this should be a single thread with the title updated each time, that way it can be bookmarked and when relevant updates are posted those who bookmarked it will alerted?

I know that I will forget all about it, but living nearby means that I might well be able to attend in the future.

Cool, I'll bookmark this one and hopefully that'll remind me to come along next time!! Not sure I'll really have a suitable car on the road at the time, but making good progress on my '46 Aerosedan so should be along soon!!.
