Model: Perodua Nippa
Year: 1999
Mileage: 80k
MOT: April 2017
Location: Wirral
Price: £300
My Perodua Nippa is for sale.
I've owned since 2013.
Engine exploded on M6, so I replaced with a 20k mile one, I changed cam belt as well.
Suspension was completely knackered, so I put coilovers on, it also had a brand new exhaust system.
The front seats were awful, they got swapped for 1980's Wolfrace bucket seats. I tig welded the subframe, and the adjustment is about 1 1/2 foot each way (right back to the rear seats). Also had a new battery last year. It failed last MOT on front brake binding and corrosion on the driver's sill - I rebuilt the calipers and replaced the pads, and welded a new sill on the rear part. I can't see any more corrosion, it's pretty sold.
You could easily fit if you are tall. It's a small car, but the pedals are fine and it has a pretty high roof. You can fit loads in the boot.
It weighs around 700kg and is about 50bhp or more from the Daihatsu EF 850cc fuel injection engine, it is the best handling car I've driven due to the weight.
My girlfriend used it for years to go to college and the shops. It hasn't had a hard life tbh, I think it's had two previous owners.
I put it through an MOT last year and have barely driven it since. That's really the reason I'm selling, I just don't use it anymore. I want to keep it, blah blah etc, it makes no sense just keeping it in my garage.
I sent the V5 off as a trader I think, so have the front half of the V5.
I have some early 13" Mazda RX7 4x110 PCD wheels I can sell seperately (cheap) that fit on these. The original 12" wheels have recent tyres with loads of tread.
