Why do you need a volt meter, the only purpose they serve is another distraction to worry about? Kind of agree with you tbh. The only time its of use is in my camper, because i like to see how much I'm running it down with fridge and waterpump etc, and making sure the solar is topping it up in the morning. In the car it has not much use at all...i will know the battery voltage is low by the fact it wont turn over...

Just wanted to put a volt meter in as my car has been playing up and was caught out by the alternator not charging it has been working ok but this time it didn't show any battery light on dash so there I was happily trotting along and them it died, so I thought adding a volt meter I could always keep a eye on it in case it decided to play up, because getting horned at a busy roundabout aint the best especially when no one wants to get out and help push the Car to the side all you get is beep beep lol like I really wanted to stop here lol people make you chuckle
