49 in July. I have no intention of giving up playing with cars/vehicles. I am currently (pun intended) half way interested to see how the hobby changes as electric cars become more popular/fall into our reaches. The "hobby" has adopted and adapted over the years to the changes in cars and legislation so electric is going to be a big sea change I think. Gotta add love for this as well.

59 years old and I have no intention of giving up playing with cars. Even though my current medical condition doesn't allow me to do much, I'm still working on some upgrades to my Pop. The physical work will hopefully be done by a very good friend of mine in a few months time when I have gathered all the parts together. But as my health / strength (hopefully) improves then I'll be down there being his go-for.
Very much an old tech guy. Our daily driver is the newest car I've even owned, an 07 plate Fiesta which has about as much electric gizmos that I can stand. Had a brand new Nissan Juke as a hire car (long story I won't bore you with) for two weeks, still hadn't a clue what half the switches did by the time we handed it back!

There are lots of us about, I have a few mates who are heading into their 70s, still building cars worthy of note, one mate has a 5ltr twin turbo Austin Devon hotrod, he is 72, and had had the car since he bought it from his mum when he was 16!!!! its been Hotrodded since then, I'm pretty sure that I used to know him back in the 70's! If I'm right he is Dennis? and back then he was a member of North Kent Roadsters and we used to meet at the falcon pub, Falconwood. Back then I think the Devon was a crimson like colour with MGB running gear. Great that he still has the car and it looks superb. Paul

Do give him my regards Ian if you would. Back then I had an Anglia with bubble arches painted in a fairly hideous shade of bright green which he may or may not remember. Name is Paul. I should dig out a photo of the said Anglia to make everyone's eyes water from the awful colour!

Well this was the 70's so everything had flares including my luminous green Anglia! I was young and growing up sort of disgracefully as I didn't want a sensible car. V8ian, it would be great if you could show Dennis the pics and check if he remembers the car. And me.

63 and still messing with cars. Started at 17 and not stopped. Currently have a v8 Humber Hawk and a Standard 12 pickup made from junk lying about, tuned sidevalve. Wifey has a Golf mk3 and a 1953 pop (currently having a rebuild for far to long) hotrod. Plans for retirement include a v8 trike.

Went into a performance centre this morning to buy a second hand exhaust bung as on motorway trips the HKS Super Drager is a tad loud. Chap says yeah got one in stock but your a bit old for all that stuff. 66 mate never too old. Handed me the bung / no further conversation. Job Done
