I will only see the car on Saturday morning. However, he has a viewing tonight by a guy who speaks no English it seems, only a wife to translate.

only get a 1.6 diesel if its highly documented and been serviced with the correct oil, not a 'bad' engine, but does have a reputation for turbochargers and injectors.

1.6 petrol or a 2.0 hdi are probably best choice of engines, n-a diesel is a pure workhorse.

Or French military, like the olive green one but more Frenchie

These are a staple in Europe but got abit of a stigma over here. I've got one in a Partner Quiksilver 2.0 Hdi guise. It's been the most fun+practical car I've ever owned.

They look great slammed and smooth, the one you're looking at seems to lend itself to the surf look and the sunroof is magic.

I'm going for a faux 4x4 style with mine with light guards and wheelarch plastics from the Escapade in a Dangle style.

Bodge on a non associated grille and badge like Benz or Audi rings if one can find the right size.

I have access to Berlingo steels in 15 and 16 inch flavour if you're interested.
I reckon lowish on 16s would look good and retain some practicality for tip runs.....

Front seats can be swapped out to half leathers from a 306 HDI without much work, Not sure about the rears with her being a multispace though.

Okay, but the result can´t be better than the original pic in this case.
So I did only some quick ones.

First, those berlingo 16" steelies are a great idea.
Somebody here once showed pics of his KA with them, featuring some mini chrome hub caps.
I changed the color to orange, as that is always a nice contrast to dark blue.



And since somebody mentioned a surf style:

Tiki wagon surf style works for me.

Not at all cast in stone, but certainly shortlisted.

How much work is not a lot?

The drivers seat is certainly in line for replacement.
