CAR IS PROVISONALLY SOLD AT THE MOMENT!
Due to the usual 'reasons' (new car coming, loss of space, lack of time, family etc..) I have come to the realisation that I am not going to get my T5-R back on the road anytime soon.
The car is a proper numbers matching T5-R in original unmolested condition (except the alloys which were swapped for the 850R type Volan's early in its life) which requires a bit of TLC to return it to the road.
I have had this car since about 2013 and used it everyday until the clutch bearing gave up a couple of years ago and it was taken off the road and hastily replaced with a BMW!
Since then the engine has been removed, cleaned up and checked over, a new complete clutch fitted and is ready to go back into the car. Whilst out the engine bay has been cleaned up.
Car has done 142000 miles and during my tenure was regularly serviced and anything needing sorting was sorted.
Bodywork - unlike most 850's this one has no structural rust - solid front wings, valence, sills and doors. However the paintwork is original and is now showing its age, it scrubs up well but is looking a bit tired in places there are also a minor few parking dents.
Interior - I replaced the original front seats with a much better set from a T5-R, these are in great condition only a slight tear on the drivers bolster let's it down - I did keep a lot of the upholstery from the original drivers seat so this can be repaired with original alcantara. Rear seats are good just need a bit of leather treatment and this car has the 7 seat conversion which again is in excellent serviceable condition.
Engine - Ran great last time it was in the car, had regular oil changes and servicing - in addition I have replaced and cleaned the entire PCV system. I replaced the MAF sensor and radiator as both were failed when I first got the car.
Transmission - Manual gearbox in good condition, has had the fluid changed a couple of times, driveshafts are in good condition, hub bearings have no major play, spare set of hubs included with the car. Spare clutch cylinder included as the AA man wrecked the original when the bearing failed!!
Brakes - New discs all round the car (need skimming as they have sat a while) and I have refurbished all the calipers with new seals etc.. Rear suspension has had new main bushes and the Nivomat shocks are still ok.
Electrics - Everything electrical was in working order on this car, the traction control and abs module was showing an error but I have a working spare included with the car. Cruise control now works after replacing the column stalk and the activation switch, aircon has been recharged and the compressor clutch properly shimmed - ac has a fault with the low pressure switch but a spare is included to fix. I overhauled the internal heating sensors and there is a spare heater ecu included.
Wheels - 5 x Volan 17" alloys (850R style) with usable but old tyres, all hold air.
Spares - I have collected a load of spares for this car over the years including but not limited too as I will no doubt find more stuff I stashed and forgot about in the next few weeks!

This is a project so is currently SORN and the engine is currently out of the car but I can put it back in for transporting if required (you'll need a trailer but most of the spares will fit inside the car)
Collection can be arranged anytime and the car is currently based near Yeovil.
