Hello everyone! You may know me from my incessant ramblings about bicycles and Hemi engines and old rusty American relics. You may remember such hits as the Maserati with the Japanese V8 or even the Christmas video where I talk about Doombar and who knows what else.
Check my posting times because if it's past 11pm in the USA, I'm probably a bit drunk. Probably
You never know what you'll find in the RR forums and that's why I love 'em so much. From Hillmans to Capris to Mini's and Vauxhalls and even a Lotus or two.
I try to keep it interesting and fun, but sometimes we all get bogged down with life stuff. Not this time. Not here, not today. Welcome to the next big thing. Or at least the next fun thing that I get to do anyway.
This topic is best suited for a video because while pictures are cool, there's nothing like seeing it and hearing it in person.
The 1968 Ford F100 Pickup truck engine swap has begun. Watch, enjoy and join in because this- is where it gets real. Real cool anyway.

I just love those models of the Ford Trucks... They look so right to me. I guess it's a heritage from watching so much Dukes of Hazard in my forming years, lol. This one looks great in this lovely blue.
The coyote engine is one I would love to put in my granada as well. But they are hard or at least expensive to come by over here. And compared to the previous engine swap it will probably require a lot more fabrication. Ah well, a person can dream right...
Looking forward to seeing this happen. Although I suspect that compared to your international builds this will be a breeze for you.

Anyway, chair pulled up, Rum and Pepsi Max at the ready. Same idea, different drink! Brandy and Coke. 1L of Emperador Light + 2L of Coke = GBP2.50. Oh dear! Crack on, young Grenade!

MEGA!!! Liking the look of this! I want one of those motors in something. Pic of my mates '70 F100 LWB hiding behind my Merc and Coupe. His has a 460 BBF in it currently, looking at simple bolt on EFI stuff, although a Coyote swap would be awesome...

Feel the need to pop over for a lemonade, methinks... & drool over the International & the F**d.
Leaving Hereford & landing in Columbus in a few weeks time, catching up with old vannin pals around the Lancaster area (Mid Ohio Vanels) & then bimbling off to see a pal in Colorado (I70's going to be soooooo much fun). Might well be up around Akron too, so not a million miles away.

Maybe you should pop in to see Grenade..... make sure you take a case of beers though.

I have no idea what a Coyote is, but an engine swap "just because you can" is never a bad idea if you ask me.

It's a 420 bhp 390 ft lbs of torque High revving all aluminum V8 that will make beautiful music... Meanwhile, it freaking SNOWED here. Hate winter.

The International looks awesome against the snow. The blue truck needs a name. Something to obscure the 5l even more. Know what I mean?
