OK! Here we go- it's looking good and VERY close to completion.
Also--- only a few subscribers away from 500! Nice. Having fun until I have to leave for work. Today should be a great day- only working on the truck today!

Folks- It's DONE. It's been driven. I'm editing the final video for the build now. The video won't be done for a few days, but guess what? It smokes the tires in second gear at 50+mph. It's pretty badass. An exhaust shop has installed 3" full BORLA exhaust with an X pipe. It sounds like a wicked new mustang on steroids, in the body of a 48yr old truck.
The video will be here in a couple days.
In the meantime, a NEW BUILD is parked up, out back. I'm starting another thread on it right now, having a beer and taking a break from editing the final installment of the Coyote swap build.
We've moved into 560+ subscribers on you tube, SO COOL!! Keep watch and Subscribe to the channel and thank you RR readers!

This build has just nicely coincided with a lousy internet connection which is way too slow to watch You Tube videos. I've subscribed and now have to wait to actually watch the damn things.
The definition of frustration?
Edit to say no, I found a better one. I've got a litre bottle of Red Horse here just crying out to be opened. Shame some overzealous daughter decided it should go in the freezer last night. Now waiting for it to return to its liquid state!

There was a song in the background on my garage radio. You tube copyright claimed it, I'm removing it now. Damnit!

Isn't that what ovens are for?! Would be if we had an oven. Sticking the bottle onto the gas burner probably wouldn't be the best idea. Good thing about it being the hot season though, it didn't take long to defrost. Still can't see the bloody videos.

Ok- This truck has been on the road for several weeks now. It's Baaad fast! A few little things need to be dialed in, like rebuilding the CROWN Vic steering rack that's in it and a few other little things. We took it to a place called The Toy Barn and they got the 6SPD auto box communicating PERFECTLY with the engine harness. This thing is sick. I forget the dyno numbers but it's something like 400 to the rear wheels, I'll get the printout from him. I'm hoping to do a "What it's like to live with it" video for a final chapter on this build. We are planning that for next week. I hope the sun is shining and my regular job leaves me alone long enough to travel down there and make this video! I just finished the Hemi Duranged 1941 Chevy build and I need to see some things that SHINE. Rust is fun, but the sparkle is in the shiny stuff! I'll check back in on this soon.

So a few months on and how is the truck? Awesome! We were with it today at the BIG show in Columbus Ohio, Good Guys 20th national and people were trying to buy it for insane amounts of $$. Will he sell it? Will I build another one? (shitYes) and will the Coyote ever actually CATCH the roadrunner? Tune in to find out... Grenade Motorsports You tube channel. #MadLoveForRetroRidesForum
