even so, for that money you can't loose, if it is too much you can stick it on eBay and get way more back for it.

Just hide it in the back of the wardrobe and pretend it's been there ages..... that's what my wife does with shoes and handbags (I don't do anything like that with bikes and car parts, for the record!) Good luck! John

Well it's certainly got patina!
I was thinking you were completely barking until I got to the photo of the engine bay. Done right that will be a beauty.
(Still think you're a bit barking though. Noisy, slow, thirsty, unreliable, uncomfortable, handles like a shopping trolley with 4 wonky wheels. But then again......)

That's cheap even as a parts car it's cheap Don't think you're ever loose money on it Like the improvised VW badge on the front I've got an early bay (I'm currently working on)

At least it doesn't appear to be full of filler like many of them, a new front panel would fix many of the issues in one go, the rear pillars look like they have sweated from the inside out, what the structure is like inside will be interesting.

Looks good to me. Sun visor! It's certainly original. Motor looks tidy. Can't go wrong with those prices.
Interior pics?

In terms of work required, you are a brave man... Rare with all interesting detail! Empi engines must be super rare nowadays and must have been a luxurious transplant somewhere in its life! (Hope you do not hear the jealousy in my voice!)
