Cjopped racing porker anyone? I think all the dictator/dealer mercs can benefit from a good chopping I think that's had a roof chop? This Moskvich looks horrid from the front, but looks like this from the back end. And this mini wins. Massively. Roller. Also filled to the (low) ceiling with win Low rollerAnother from our own hallowed pages Cheers for the comments guy's, Haha yeah Howie! following the Hotrod theme it had to have a roofchop! so 4 inches was chopped off the height of the roof. I have'nt got many pics of it with the chop so i'll put up the crappy ones i've got. it hasn't got any windows at all in it at the mo. that's where we're at now, we've got loads more planned, i'll try and keep the thread upto date. And lastly, how about a factory chop? P5 coup

Isn't it one of Andy Saunder's 'creations'.? Was built by Perry Watkins, who also built this.

If you're building in radiator clearance... you're going the right way!

Love that van/truck, real Deora character. Would love to see a pointier '60's fantasy front/bumper on it. Late grill looks absurdly HUGE on that mini.

If you're building in radiator clearance... you're going the right way! That mini isnt just a roof chop is it? Look at the gap between the headlights and the indicators, there isnt one! Quite heavily sprinted id imagine. Makes the headlights look huge too. Probably why some of the original sprints had rectangular headlights, authough I seem to remember they had rectangular headlights to raise the bean pattern. Which remind me of

An Audi TT is basically a roof chopped new Bug As said monocoques aren't a good idea to chop as it counts as modified chassis so requires a BIVA. My Volksrod is chopped a little bit... A lot... A LOT... LOL I miss the updates on this!

gettingold I've not seen it finished - a bit of a backyard Russian project that got a ton of meme traction on the internet. Maybe it took years and it's slowly progressing. Would love to know myself - but in a lot of ways if mine I'd just clearcoat the body as-is - the patchwork welds and overall patina are just too good a visual story to cover up with bondo, primer and paint.

That transit is great. Its such an extreme build yet despite the sheer amount of cutting and chopping thats gone on, it is still clearly a transit. I really would like to hope that it remains in its unpainted state, as littlepixel says its just too good to cover up. I cant even think of a colour id like to see it in.
