Were you parked on the south bank yesterday? - I think I could see a red and white Avenger from where I was (gradually getting sunburned)

It was a shame the Historic Touring Cars only made it out on the Saturday I thought.....and I can't think the clash with GFoS did the attendance any good?!

Yes I was being toasted on the south bank

The meeting was good shame about the chevron at paddock hill

I was there on Saturday with my Dad... had a great time. The F5000 cars were incredible. Got a load of photos from the paddock so I'll get those online this week, need a bit of cropping here and there.

My attention was a bit split as I needed to ensure youngest Sponsz was enjoying himself (he's still 2 and things are looking promising!)I don't have pics I can post up here this time sadly (I was pretty click-happy at this meeting 2 years ago) as I had him stand in front of all the cars I shot this year to give Mrs Sponsz something to look at when we got home.

Anyway, in no particular order, for me, the standout cars were the drifting RS500, the ex-Soper M3, Leo Voyazides' Shelby Cobra Daytona and his Gitanes Lola, the Corvette in the endurance race and the light blue thundering v8 in the same race.

We were stood in the new wooden hut thing on the back straight when that Corvette went through, shook the whole thing. Thunderous! I've got a video which I'll get online, don't know if the sound will come across properly though!
