i ve restored a couple of them , and there hard to restore , then b posts and sills look to be very heavey with fillers ,lines are cut from filler not metal ,glws

Just out of interest i had a NOS gearstick like that , a genuine VW accesory still in packet . It was listed for a mk1 passat as well as others i think , sold it as such to a chav girl on ebay from the west country who then gave me curse word because it did not fit her Corsa !
You didnt get it from a chav did you ?

You didnt get it from a chav did you ? Bought for a couple of quid years ago. Not great condition but I like how it feels and gets moved from one car to another. The Mk1 Golf had them....as well as GT Beetle which was the most common. They wee an accessory for the US spec Thing also. |

best ever vw ive had, saloon car , off rd car, beach cruiser , beach buggie , militaryvehicle all in one , best of everything , lol and best of all LADIES LOVE THEM lol as i said glws sale love it

This SOLD and within a week or so it was off to Pasadena, California. Its now owned by an active member of the VW Thing Registry in USA.
