Hi Guys and Girls!! I have been on and off this forum for years and posting when i find the time. Some of you may have spotted me yesterday on the hill in my Skyline so I thought I would share the car and a bit more about it.
I had this R32 GTST Type M 1991 imported last Nov not far of as it looks in these pictures. It came with a great spec which is why i chose it in the first place. £7k and 3 months later the car arrived only to find it was running low compression on two cylinders. Something i couldnt have planned for bidding at auction. So the winter consisted of Rose Race Cars of Cheltenham rebuilding the engine for me over the winter. Of course it was pointless rebuilding back to standard so we decided on a 2.3 Tomei Stroker with forged pistons, RB25 crank and RB26 rods, I believe this is the only RB23DET engine in the UK. A bespoke top mount manifold was made to mount a Garrett GT35R trubo on along with various other upgrades along the way. The car now sits on 414BHP at 1.1Bar which was the boost i ran yesterday at RRG. The car is build for probably around 600BHP but frankly the turbo lag and RWD 400BHP is quite enough.
