Might help if you give people a bit more to work with, features (aside from diesel) and like mk1, mk2 etc.

Then the spec I have from the application is

1.9tdi, Land Rover 300 disco pump, large darkside nozzles, td04 turbo from a volvo, coilovers, rota grids, 4 pot brake upgrade, custom wide arches and wings.

Never heard it in the paddock just covered me in soot in the spin clean area - hence why my picture has it at the start line and the fog just lifting!!!

Both PD and VE can be modded to make good power. The PD block etc is stronger in standard form. Darkside has a 90bhp VE TDI at 279.8bhp and a shed load of torque. My daily is a modded Passat with a PD (not standard granted)and 240bhp on standard injectors. Next work will be nozzles to get me past 275bhp. I also have a PD in a MK2

Hehe, I love diesels.

Basically saw the diesel golf for about 20 seconds max very early in the day, I didnt see it again me being the gathering noob I didnt realise the show fields would start emptying soon after the awards so by the time I got around the fields near 4pm half the cars had gone. Note to self, get your ass around the fields before lunch time next year. Yes I was kicking myself some for not getting my Lupo tdi there or on the hill, next year awaits.

I realise after seeing one of the photos above that I did actually get a pic of this one whilst it was in the paddock, but I didn't realise it was a diesel at the time as it wasn't running whilst parked.





I also just wanted to make sure it was a Golf as whilst it is a car forum, you never know, people can assume a car is one thing when it's something else entirely.
