No-one can tell anything from the VE chart, you need datalogs for fuelling. However that Timing table! How were any of those figures arrived at? With the proviso I don't know the combo you're working with at all, my gut feel is a combination of too much too soon & random numbers. Was the timing set up on the dyno or what? & do they do a 73mm piston for that block & why are you using corsa pistons anyway, it's obvs not for the extra 19cc

I wasn’t there when the mapping was done, I left it in their hands
The standard cga3de pistons are made of chocolate, another chap has used these corsa pistons before with good results, so thought I’d give then a go.....cheap...and easily available (can’t get new micra pistons)
So you think the block is gone

It looks like the valves have kissed the pistons too. These cars are used in stage rallying in the Juniors 1400cc class and I think they use the 1300. What pistons do they use?

To build on this, is there a preferred engine builder for the rallying side, they'd probably be able to advise on measurements and get it machined for you to build up?

Fair play to you for keeping on with this, looks like a pretty steep learning curve but you'll know more than most about building engines when it's done. Very interesting having a read of the advice given as well.

This is good old fashioned hot ridding. Try something if it works, great. If not try something else. Please keep the updates coming. P.

that is certainly quite different to a micra.
I must say- a well built highly tuned NA cg13 micra engine would work well in a little car like that popular. I just wish there was a RWD box that bolts straight onto the micra engine.. as would many a Datsun owner!!!
