That's correct 14 thousand 6 hundred miles, ONE owner from new L reg Volvo 850 SE saloon Auto with leather interior and heated seats. I would have put it in the for sale section but have no idea what's a fair price and I cant load pictures as evident by the lack of pictures for my Nissan Homy. I know its worth what someone is willing to pay and all that but if its worth £10,000 and I sell it for £3 I would be gutted but as I want to sell it if its worth £30,000 and I sold it for £20,000 I would be happy if that makes sense.....I'm not expecting it to be worth £30,000. As its not a T5 or T5R I cant find any for sale with sensible miles to compare let alone 14600 miles.
What do you all think.

What do you all think. Could be £1K, could be £10K - need pics. If you can't figure out how to load pics, ask someone to do it for you, you're going to need photos to advertise it anyway.

OK, gettingold there are several ways of doing it but this is the most straightforward:- - DON'T press 'Reply'.
- DON'T press 'Quote'.
- DON'T press 'Enter Full Reply Mode'.
Just scroll down to the bottom of your screen and look for the ' Add Pictures' button. Add one at a time, give them a while to upload, (they're not shown on-screen), then press the ' Post Quick Reply' button. As long as you know where to look on your PC to find your photos it shouldn't be a problem.

OK. Good pics!
I can't give you as firm an idea on price as I'd like because, as you say, there are no SE models currently being advertised as a point of comparison. But I would say that it's not worth £30K or £20K or anything near that! That sort of money is the province of the mint 850 rocket-ship versions which this is not. The rarer manual gearboxes add value, this is auto. I don't think the 'SE' badge will add much to the value and it's not one of the more popular colours.
It is undoubtedly low mileage and, (with evidence of servicing), this is going to add value as will the one owner aspect. These cars should clock up 300K miles plus, so it's not even run in yet! The interior is very nice as you'd expect with the mileage. The 850's were sold in volume and with their mechanical longevity and better than average resistance to corrosion they aren't yet remotely rare but there will be a tipping point soon when high mileage cars and rusty ones start to get scrapped in increasing numbers, (think when was the last time you saw a 700 series Volvo?)
The bodywork unfortunately isn't as good as I'd hoped given the mileage, various little dinks, scuffs & scratches, the bumper housings are sun-bleached and scuffed. I wonder how well the car would come up with a good valet?
I notice evidence of very low annual useage on MOT history along with what appears to be crash damage and a period of years off the road; 2009 MOT advisory - front wings badly dented & distorted. 2008 MOT advisory - front wings damaged & torn. 2007 MOT fail - o/s front body has a sharp edge caused by damage.
It takes a fair old wallop with one of these tanks to cause panel damage. If properly repaired & certificated in theory it shouldn't effect the value but it will. Along with the miscellaneous extant dinks & scuffs this will effect the value considerably if it is bought by an enthusiast who wants to make the car a really good one as it implies bodywork outlay & probable re-spray. I should think it will cancel out the value added by the low miles. You could get all the cosmetic issues sorted but you're taking a big gamble as to whether this outlay would be recouped in the sale price. If it did look A1 inside and out, I could see this being the type of car that KGF1 advertises on here or ebay for strong money.
You can buy a sound 850 auto saloon, driving, MOT'd and with 150K-200K miles on it from around £500.00-ish. My thoughts are £1,500.00-ish low end and on the best day, as is, I couldn't see it selling for more than about £3K.
Your best way of maximising the sale price is to put it on ebay as a long auction with a detailed 'warts & all' description and a good photo portfolio. Encourage viewings. You might need to tax the car so potential bidders can test drive it. Hopefully there's an enthusiast out there who will fall in love with it and pay over the odds.

Hi Thank you for replying, Just had a look at the front wings and mot history the mot's have been done at the supplying Volvo dealer that supplied the car new and the service printout I have is from the same garage as well which is good , also in the same area as the one owner on the log book. I have no idea what the mot advisories are on about damaged and torn wings if the front wings have been replaced the colour match is amazing and absolutely no signs of over spray anywhere, there is as you say a small dent on the rear door and boot lid but there is a way of bringing the sun bleach bumpers back I think isn't there. Inside wants nothing but a quick hoover its immaculate and totally original with the Volvo mats leaving a very deep imprint in the carpet. I wont be listing it on ebay as life is to short and I have enough stress in mine without dealing with the bedroom bidders of no fixed abode. I am hoping it can find an owner on here or I will put it on Autotrader I suppose.

Obviously this is just one person's (inexpert) guesstimate, you may find other people will make contributions on value.

... but there is a way of bringing the sun bleach bumpers back I think isn't there. Back to Black should do it for a while, also good on all interior plastics.

Unfortunately I think you'd need a serious 850 nut to pay good money for that - and I'm not sure there is such a person.
I'd definitely start with a bloody good detail, the paintwork is crying out for a machine polish and wax, similarly bringing the interior back to a factory finish.
