Apologies if this hits a nerve but who gets the dog? Not me :/ I haven't seen our dog since April, it's a real kick in the teeth :/ But I will get my own dog once I'm set up at my new house. I refuse to hit the like button for this, that's tough. We've got a Cocker Spaniel curse word that we might introduce to a Mr Poodle next year...

Sorry to hear about the relationship, I think most of us have done it once or twice, doesn't make it any easier I know!
Good news on the soap box racer making it to the end though

Bummer. Aye, a fair few have been there. Shame about the dog. Nice one on the build though. Looks like it kept together okay?

I reckon I could make the suspension softer too, the videos show it hardly deflecting all all in the landings. The only bit that broke was when I was loading it back onto the tow hook on the car, I turned the wheel to line it up and the steering column snapped! not on a weld either, just metal fatigue I think. could have been scary if it happened on a run! my fault for using cheap tubing I guess

Two action shots from the Orgas: This is from the top chicane, and in this pic i'm on two wheels about to turn the kart over, but save it by steering into the skid and alos the plastic barriers Jump shot:

Also, the organisers have decided to not do a race next year :/ I suspect the crash that closed the race near the end of the day has something to do with this. They need much better barriers.
