The engine is going to find its way into a Morris Minor, apparently it’s a 1275 A+ unit. I imagine the rest will be flattened soon after... N reg has to be 1 of the last ever registered. Be interesting to see how the engine will fit a Moggie as they're RWD & the Maestro's FWD. Interesting story behind the N reg and my proximity to Bury St Edmunds. Here’s an article that explains what this car most likely is, especially as it says the Apple 2000 cars were registered Nxxx DRP. When I checked tax it was registered as sorn and last MOT 2011, manufactured in 1996 and not being first registered until 1999. Kind of want to save it as always had a weird liking for the maestro, but it is far gone and engine is definitely being removed.

That Fiesta looks saveable, albeit it looked better from behind than the front lol

That Fiesta looks saveable, albeit it looked better from behind than the front lol Structurally it's OK bonnet is toast as is the front panel and wings. Few smaller holes dotted around but not bad considering it's been sat in a damp wet garage.

A mate is building a mk1 and says that good wings are like hens teeth and carry a lot of hens teeth tax if the do come up for sale

That NZ haul is the most eclectic mix - For me the Minor pickup and the go-cart please! All I have spotted lately is this I know exactly where this is. Been sat there for a fair few years. A chap further up that road with a few minis as well.

This is a V reg, so not particularly retro, but it's Renault 5 based so I love it.

Not Dubai if that green thing is a Daewoo as they are not sold in the region, secondly Dubai just does not have that degree of litter and dumpage.........

I'm out in Death valley Nevada just now and have spotted loads of abandoned cars but usually while driving. Here are a couple I saw while stationary.

Late 1940s/early 1950s Ford F-6 truck, by the looks of it. It looks very narrow, by today's standards!

More please ! You got it. Today was a good car day (also posted in the spotted thread). Started in Beatty Nevada and finished in Lake Isabella and the pictures below were from Pearsonville which calls itself the hubcap capitol of the world. Enough jibba-jabba, here are the pics. I feel another mystery car thread comming on.
