1968 2.5 Diesel Single Rear Axle Its a camper, its not been on the road since 2007, i have been told the cab is rusted in places, the body is alloy and the roof leaks, i believe it is not running, do not know how much work it will take to get running. It is in Cornwall and will need to be trailered away. Are these super rare now? Might be a big project for someone! Do not know the value of them.

That's bloomin' cool. I believe even the non-camper versions are very rare so I imagine this is quite rare indeed. Can't advise on a price, but I know I want it so much.

...i have been told the cab is rusted in places... maybe "not rusted in some places" would be more accurate, you can see the gaping holes from that 1 pic!

Not seen a camper in these before would be something different what I do know is there's a lot of work involved in restoring them as you carnt but body panels for them so you have to make your own I'm in the middle of resorting a pickup version and trying to find parts is like hens teeth

It has to be super-rare, (if not a unique), survivor? The problem with rare vehicles is that they don't come up for sale often or at all so it's difficult to have any point of reference on value. A nicely restored 350FG truck sold around 6 months ago for £12,600.00 angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic/results/results-from-saturday-4th-november-2017/1964-morris-fgk30/The problem is it would probably cost more than that to get this camper into half decent condition unless you were able to do most of the work yourself. I'm guessing the panels are aluminium so it's probably a lot more rotted out than it appears superficially, I would bet that if you started prodding away at the chassis with a screwdriver it would be a very sorry tale. If this were an A1 restoration in period it might be worth £30K? If you were paying to get the work done it would cost that much and more to get it there. Sad but I think it's most likely to end up being broken for parts although I'd love to be proven wrong! As is, perhaps £2K-£3K?

one major problem here , where it is. if its been sat in a field that's anywhere near the coast here in cornwall I would bet at least one testicle that it has more perforations that a box of tetley!! having said that what a truck if restored!!! (loose the cat flap though.)

Thanks for the replies, i think all the feedback is right, i think ill start it at £2500 obo on Ebay classified and see what happens, the owner would prefer something in their pocket rather than watch it rust away in a field!

Has others have stated whilst rare - it would cost an a proper lump of money to restore - even if it was someone that undertook it has a labour of love - there is a good few years work to get it sorted properly - sure it could be returned to the road & tidied up - not that sure it would be reliable and hold it's self together though without the benefit of a proper & through restoration - done to a good standard it's probably worth somewhere in the region of £15 - £20k - has it stands now it's not worth a lot - start on E Bay at £2.5k and it will be there forever along with the rest of the super rare barn / field / garage / when did last see one finds offered by the rose tinted speculative tat traders hoping to get lucky - If the vendor is genuine in the intention to find a new home before it completely dissolves to nothing then start at £500 and hope for the best !
