Ah interesting. It was the front of the pub car park I entered, then did a 49point turn when it was evident it was full, then got trapped by a Panda (fiat) and eventually left again somewhat flustered twenty minutes later. So the trick is to park along the approach and walk the rest? That makes more sense, having tackled the car park! I need a deadline for the car else it's just going to remain sitting all over spring and summer. So I am making this my deadline, and I will arrive in it even if its parked half a mile away and nobody even looks at it (Yes, the one in Yapton. It was ideal for meeting, but also ideal I suppose for furtive activity... being out in the middle of nowhere).

I've gotta say I've always had a space in the first car park, you should be fine this time of year - it's a very seasonal pub.

@thousandwords here's a pic, with some of my finest mouse drawing. Little arrow gets you into car park A; the "front car park". Second arrow, driving past the front of the pub, gets you to car park B; the "rear car park" I had no idea how big the rear car park was, you can streetview it and everything. Might be worth claiming it in the summer months...

Perhaps if I'm working from home one wednesday I might try and get down for a beer - great pub this.

Ahhhh, okay your location "A" is where I got stuck in a vehicular eddy and lost the will to persist. Now I know I can drive past the pub and park in a bigger space, it makes things much easier. Cool thanks YourLittleTony
