Just read this from start to finish. Love it!
Now almost regretting buying a shed kit for my garden. Almost, as I truly know that an attempt like this would've ended in a disaster!
Kudos to you for this project.

there has been some progress over the last few weeks. Shed got some shelves PC014914 by jono_misfit, on Flickr PC014915 by jono_misfit, on Flickr fitted lights (and broke many bulbs), sorted a wiring fault, and fitted edging / capping strips PC024916 by jono_misfit, on Flickr filled a lot of nail and screw holes PC024917 by jono_misfit, on Flickr and got some paint on it lights on PC224918 by jono_misfit, on Flickr summer house. I went for an inverse of the exterior paint. Mainly white with some light blue highlighting. PC224919 by jono_misfit, on Flickr inside PC224920 by jono_misfit, on Flickr PC224921 by jono_misfit, on Flickr PC224922 by jono_misfit, on Flickr PC224923 by jono_misfit, on Flickr Gives a nice blank canvas for Mrs_Misfit to put up hanging and other such things, and accent it with some colour. Its surprisingly toasty in there. 1 min with the heater and its warm, and it stays warm for a good while. Still some finishing off to do. Some paint touch ups to do, put up the folding desk when it arrives, and a few bits to tidy up externally, but generally its done. thankfully. Finally, should get back onto the morris and escort. Just got to sort the workshop after 7 months of wood detritus covering everything, deal with the massive wood scrap pile, clear some things out into the shed, get rid of the excess wood i have left, build an extension to the machining area (see last point), and then clean the whole workshop of wood dust. Merry Christmas.

Hi, Excellent job well done.
One observation, if I may, put some flat metal plate under the angle uprights, even a reasonable weight on the shelves will tend to drive them into the wooden floor.

She's happy with it.
The tablet has been out and much looking at furniture has been taking place.
will see what ends up going in it.

I had forgotten you were building this. And I was wondering why you had so much wood in the garage. Suddenly everything is clearer... Looks good! Only thing I'd do is use your blue paint to outline your gable fist perhaps.

I think blue or something bolder will be needed for the fist.
Although I have been tempted to paint it up in flesh tones with string etc as veins / sinew.... that may be going to far for mrs_misfit though.
